over to Marissa's Bunny and check out the awesome giveaway they have!  This family is desperate to raise funds to help pay for medical fees for the daughter Marissa, who has infantile spasms and another little boy that has the same condition.  In order to raise funds to help pay for some of their medical fees they are holding an iPad giveaway and you might be the lucky winner!  It only costs $2 to enter but of course the more you donate the more chances you have of winning!  For every $1,000 goal that they reach, they will be giving away 5 iPads!  This is an amazing chance for you to help a child in need and have a chance to win a great prize!

Infantile spasms are a debilitating condition that causes infants/toddlers to have multiple/many seizures a day, every day.  Our daughter Ashlyn also had these horrible seizures as a baby but was blessed to be free from them after having them for a year.  When the seizures began, Ashlyn ended up losing most of her muscle control and it took many years to recover.  She didn't walk until she was 4 years and 10 months old due to the horrible seizures that she endured as a baby.

We need your prayers!   We got an email this morning telling us that our facilitator is going to talk with the judge and try to see if they will accept our medical exams if they expire just a couple of days after our court date. Our medical exams expire around the 25^th of May, so the email I received this morning gives me hope that they are planning on us having a court date at the end of this month!!!!!! Please pray that we do not have to  do our medical exams over because they will cost over $1,200 for both of us.  Thank you for all of your prayers and donations.  We still have donations coming in and we thank each of you for all that you have done for us to help us break Anna out of that institution and give her a loving family.

Birthday love for Anna

In less than a month it will be sweet Anna's 6th birthday.  Ohhhh how we have hoped that we would have her home for her birthday and we now realize there is no way this is going to happen :(  Now we can only pray for a court date ASAP and pray that we will get to see her sometime again around her birthday. At least we have comfort in knowing that while she has gone almost six years with no birthday parties, no family to love her and celebrate her, we at least know that this will be her last birthday in that institution!  Thank you God!

We still have to raise a little less than $3,000 so that we can make our third trip to her country and pick her up!  I'm asking you, will you please share our link/story in hopes that we can raise the rest of the money?  There's not much time left to raise $3,000 but we all know that God is in control and he will make sure that we some way, some how have all of the finances in order to complete our adoption of Anna. Overwhelmed.....

with kindness, love, generosity, etc. As the saying goes “God does his best work through people”. How true this statement is. I have met some of the most amazing friends along our journey to adopt Anna. From the beginning of our journey I had comfort from the Holy Spirit that I did not need to worry about financing our adoption. God knew our finances, yet he still called us to step out in faith that he would provide a way for us to adopt Anna. So far God has provided for every need that we have had financially, in one way or another. We are praying that our journey to bring Anna home will end next month as we are hoping to get a court date ASAP. Please pray that our court date will come in time in order for us to avoid $1,200 more in charges for an additional medical exam in her country. We were told to do our medical exams on our first trip, but the exams are only good for 90 days, well our 90 days expires in May! Please pray that our paperwork will be correct and finished in order for us to get a court date soon.  Also, please pray for our little Anna and for God to protect her while she waits. We are so anxious to get her home where she belongs and give her a loving and forever family. My arms just ache to hold her again. How much longer Lord, how much longer?



Speaking of sweet and generous people… my good friend Debbea called me today and told me that her little girl wants to have a spa night for a couple of her moms friends. She said that she would to do treatments for these ladies for free but they can make donations to help bring our Anna home. Now how sweet is that? This little girl is only 9 years old and wants to help us bring our baby girl home! Also, a lady named Rachel who sells Premier Jewelry and has offered to do a party for me and she will donate all of the profit to Anna’s funds! God is good, people are good! Thank you Lord! Our original plans were to raise $30,000 for our adoption funds. We have reached our $30,000 goal…yaaaaayy wooooo hooray…. And then found out we will need to make a 3rd trip to her country. So now we are working on raising an extra $3,000 to help fund our last trip. We are already a little under that last $3,000 after a donation that was made this past week!! If God has brought us this far, I have faith that he will provide for that last, unexpected trip. Believe with me! Pray with me! Share our story and pray some more! xoxoxoxo

Our two trips to rescue Princess Anna has turned into three trips now. After going on our first trip, adding up expenses and figuring out the expenses for our second trip and our extra third trip we still need to raise an additional $3,000.  Will you please share our story on Facebook, emails, friends and family, etc to help us raise the extra money?  If God has gotten us this far, he will certainly provide the means for our family to make Anna our daughter....I have faith in that!  We found out this weekend that "the powers" in Anna's region want some things done differently so that means extra paperwork and extra expenses, but the worst thing is that it throws additional time in there that we don't have a court date yet :(  Please pray that we are able to get every piece of paperwork we need in a speedy time to avoid a delay in getting a court date.
